Sharing the Love to Kids in Marawi

Mommy Bloggers Shared The Love To Kids In Marawi Through Nutri10Plus Syrup Vitamin Blog Campaign

One of the outstanding qualities of mothers is their devotion to providing quality nutrition to their children. This is primarily done by preparing healthy foods and giving effective supplements to sustain and nourish their growing family needs. Nutri10Plus Syrup, a multivitamins packed with Chlorella Growth Factor (CGF), Taurine, Lysine, Zinc and Vitamins C, A, D3 B1 and more, had been assisting mothers all around the Philippines in developing children with strong bodies, active brains and healthy appetite.

In the effort to help our co-mommies and their children in the war-stricken village in Marawi, 100 Mommy bloggers from Mommy Bloggers Philippines community had collaborated to bring boxes of Nutri10Plus Syrup,  DayCee Vitamin C Syrup and several toys, to a hundred kids in Marawi through SinagTala, a non-profit organization headed by Ms. Kaye Koo. SinagTala had been sending help to villages in Marawi since the war erupted and it had sheltered hundreds of children inside the Playroom which served as the mini-school and play area of the children.

STYLED Pop-up Store: A curated one-stop fashion shop

When I hear the word "curated", I always think about luxury, elegance, and history.
Curated ~ a well-selected, organized, and look after collection or exhibit.
● Fashion ~ a popular trend, especially in styles of clothes and ornaments, or manners of behavior.
Combine the word "curated" to "fashion" and you will get, Curated Fashion. Which sums up what my article is all about.

As shopping malls evolve, design-led 'curated retail outlets' are on the rise. These edited showrooms are some of the ways shop-owners describe the growing phenomenon of multi-brand stores that push independent labels from around the world, or in this case, local brands, home-grown designers and products. These selected shops are well-chosen to fit each others aesthetics and philosophy.

They said that two-heads are better that one. However, in STYLED Pop-up Store's story, three-heads are better than two! Three friends, Tin-Tin Bersola-Babao ( popular TV Host and persona…

Bing Loyzaga's Journey with Marie France

It was my privilege to be a part of an intimate meet and greet with Bing Loyzaga especially because the event was an intimate interview with Bing.

(All photos courtesy of Occasions of Joy)
Bing has had her share of ups and downs when it comes to her weight, especially being in an industry that constantly expects one to look good and be in great shape. So in her late 30s, she had liposuction done on her arms and legs.

“When you see yourself in the mirror at home after the procedure, yes you're thin. But when I removed the bandages, I saw myself with cuts and bruises. That's when I cried and felt like I betrayed myself. Sinaktan ko ang sarili ko.”

Her daughters Alyssa and Gabby were with her as she recovered, tending her wounds and changing her bandages. “After I had the procedure done, my daughters made me promise not to go under the knife again.”

Unfortunately, she gained back the weight. To make matters worse, she was recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism. It's a condi…

Safeguard Global Handwashing Day 2017

In line with Safeguard's 50th year tradition of  hand washing education to prevent diseases and save lives, they led a movement to healthier Philippines through the Global Handwashing Day (GHD) celebration at Baseco Compound in Manila last October 12.
It has been discovered that Filipinos touch more than 23 other people per day, summing up to more than 90 ‘touches’ a day on average. However, they wash our hands only 5 times a day! There are other shocking findings that show opportunities for improvement on handwashing habits particular on specific occasions:
After using the toilet:
·7 out of 10 Filipinos CLAIM to wash their hands after using the toilet but—ONLY 2 out of 10 really do.
·A shocking 64% of Filipinas DO NOT wash their hands at all after using a mall toilet.

Before eating and cooking:
·It was observed that 60% of females washed their hands with water ONLY before cooking.
·Before feeding the kids, 40% washed their hands with water ONLY.

Before and after bonding:
o80% of Fil…
